Happy GDPR month
By Rhianydd Webb, May 24 2018 04:39PM
Are you getting insane amounts of emails into your inbox? I most definitely am, so I decided that as it is a brand new blog which I set up when this GDPR stuff had all started anyway, that it would be easier anyway. So, I have just popped a little about it into your weekly email which you will receive at 6pm today as normal.
I did decide though, that you can only get one email a week now from me (lets save those inboxes), whereas previously you got one if I posted a new blog post. This way, you will just get a weekly roundup instead. Better? Hope so.
So lets talk fun stuff instead.
The Sweet Easy Gatsby Inspired Collaboration
This has literally just been released and its a good 'un! There are incredible artists in the group but as usual, I had a minimal amount of time I could spend, so what did I create? A cute little evening bag that can be carried from Rice Krispie Treats, Saracino and of course the fabulous Drageekiss.
So pop on over to see all the images, you will be blown away, I promise you!
What else has happened this week?

The Renshaw Academy
I had another fantastic day at the Renshaw Academy this week teaching the buttercream sharp edges class. We had a fun time playing with wafer paper and frills too, have a look at the fabulous pic of everyones work. I was absolutely thrilled with the results and it really was an enjoyable day.
I can't wait to return to the class on the 13th July for my ganache sharp edges class. Click this link for more information and to book.
Henleys Cake Company
I had a fabulous time at my other class on Saturday with the fabulous Hilary Henley who has just raised over £2400 (here is the link to her just giving page) for breast cancer care.
We made little Katy the Skater the same day as the royal wedding, so first of all, I must show you the wonderful treat that we all received. That's right! Lemon and Elderflower sponge and prosecco.....yum!
The figures were so cute too! It is always a pleasure to teach at Hilarys fabulous shop in Trowbridge.
Here is the link to her facebook page.
I have updated the Facebook page with more of the upcoming events for the rest of the year, including my June Class at Let Them See Cake in Cardiff on Summer Wafer paper Flower. (Spaces still available)
So if you want to see where I am, pop on there for more info. (There are always more to add!)
I have just completed another collaboration piece, and I like it so much, that it is going to be a new class. It is very me though, I warn you now! lol
I did promise a short blog, and there it is.
I hope you have a wonderful week whatever you are doing

Welcome to my Blog.
Anyone who has been to one of my classes or Demonstrations knows that I am passionate about my craft. I wholeheartedly believe that knowledge should be shared, so if I know something, I will happily tell you.
This includes my love of what I call the History of Sugarcraft in our lifetime.
I started cake decorating in 1995, learning from books and from attending British Sugarcraft Guild meetings with all the fabulous demonstrators, so my wish, is to share information about those that made it possible of the UK to create the cakes that we make today.
This Blog was created to share a little of that history along with blogposts with a little info about what is happening lately in the world of cake too.
So I hope we will see you here again
