I am thrilled to be making my second solo feature at Cake International.

 

After the Faraway tree feature paying homage to the wonderful Enid Blyton books of the same name were so well received, I am thrilled to now present to you:

 

A-Spiderwick Field Guide

 

'What is Real?' If adults say not to tell fibs when you tell them about House Brownies, Sprites or Wandering Clumps, come and show them it is true! Inspired by “Arthurs Spiderwick’s Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You” by Tony Di Terlizzi & Holly Black (Simon & Schuster, New York) and hand created by the wonderful Welsh cake-sculptress Rhianydd Webb.

Cake International Artist of the Month March 2017

Spring Cake International NEC  March 2017

I am honoured to share that I am the Cake International Artist of the Month in the March issue of the magazine.

 

This is a great honour and has previously been awarded to incredible artists such as Daniel Dieguez and Benny Rivera.

Cake International Spring NEC March 2017

Wow! What a weekend!  From demonstrating daffodils on the open stage, to modelling hands and feet in the enclosed theatre.  Winning Cake off with Team Welsh Cakes (come and support us in the final in November), to having an incredible response to my Spiderwick feature.  Thank you Will Torrent for Tweeting to Tony DiTerlizzi, because when he and his family tweeted about it too, that was just incredible.  The Spiderwick Chronicles shared my video of the feature too.  Wow!  Visit the Facebook group for loads more photographs and videos of the feature.

Saracino Mini Class at Cake International November 3-5th

I am excited to share that I will be teaching a mini class for Saracino at Cake International 3-5th November.

 

I will be teaching how to model hands and feeet using Saracino pasta model and Cerart modelling tools.

This years Cake International really was exciting.

 

I am pleased to announce my "Away with the Faeries" feature sponsored by Renshaws, Saracino, Dummies Direct, Rainbow Dust, Clairella Cakes, Cerart.  A life size male Faerie sculpture surrounded by giant wafer paper and paste flowers. Don't forget to look for the little beasties.

Cake International November 3-5th

Cyril's Cake Adventure

In November 2019 I took my first book to Cake International at my authors stand F31.

 

It is book one in a trilogy and is a cake tutorial book with a difference

 

Every chapter page is the next page in the story Cyril's Cake Adventure, and the story can all be produced using the tutorials in the book.

 

There are lots of skills to learn in the book including
